Guest guest
We saw Dr. Bock a few weeks ago and as part of the recommendations, he wants my son taking 2 tsp of Metagenics' Zinc Drink (15 mg of zinc sulfate in deionized water) each night. I had been giving him 60 mg of Kirkman's hypoallergenic zinc capsules (zinc chelate and citrate) each day. I'm wondering what the value and benefit of the zinc sulfate is and if it is worth the $50/month price tag vs. the $5.50 I was paying each month for Kirkman's zinc. I'm guessing that the sulfate is beneficial and perhaps reducing the acid in his stomach? But is it really worth the significant additional expense??? Any thoughts?? Thanks!
