RE: B6 and PICA - MANDI

In response to my other post about my son's persistent Pica and yeast

questions, you mentioned that the chewing is a common reaction to B6,

rather than yeast. Did you have this experience with your child? The

B6 is helping so with speech and cognition, I hate to cut it out, can

I just reduce the dose a bit? He is getting one 50 mg capsule of P5P

divided up into three doses, I was doing about a half a capsule to

start, I don't know exactly at what point in increasing the dose that

he started with the chewing. I did not keep a good record of this.
