High oxalate food: Spinach - is it okay?

We still have not done the OAT test but my kiddo eats a full bag of

baby spinach everyday. His meals contain a lot of veggies and he gets

one apple a day. We are doing almost all supplements recommended by

Andy plus a few others except taurine and milk thistle which I plan to

start soon.

Is too much spinach bad for his liver?

Please let me know.

Thanks,

Maya

Spinach is high in calcium, iron, vitamin A, vitamin K, and a few

other things. My son was toxic in calcium and iron, so it would not

have been good for him.

It is also high oxalate.

Here are two pages that are informative.

I believe that that it is a pretty safe to safe that too much of any

food is dangerous in the gut. Spinach is a high oxalate food so I

would automatically be careful. Our kids tend to have a number of

issues....and not always the ones we think, so I personally never

crowd anything too hard if I think it is gonna cause a problem.
