Guest guest
I give my son CLO, the NN children's DHA liquid, about 2 tsps. I wanted to him have more EPA and DHA than this contains. I gave him the Omega 3/6/9 formulation of the fish oil from NN. This helped a lot with speech, but little by little we started to see lots of eczema, probably from the vitamin E content, as our son is extremely reactive to soy. Most fish oils from what I can see have some type of vitamin E content. If there is a formulation out there that does not have soy derivatives, I would appreciate it if someone could tell me about it. If fish oil is out of the question, what else delivers the EFA's ? I bought flaxseed oil, will this do it? What about primrose oil? What have people experienced? I know posted that flaxseed was a disaster for her child. I am working our way slowly through the mito cocktail, so I am hopeful he will tolerate one of these oils. How much do you give to a 30 lb child? Is there anything else I am overlooking? Would appreciate some help. Thanks. Irene
