Guest guest
----- Original Message ----- From: iam2l84t I just got complete lab work back now & am posting it as is hoping that experts here can help me understand them. -------------------------------------------- Ferritine 22 ng/ml (range: 30-90) ====>This is actually fine, I've seen the optimal level for children is lower than adults. The correct range I saw for children started at 10-30, not sure if this is accurate but her's is not bad. TSH 1.4 micro UI/ml (range 0.10 - 4.50) FT4 11.0 ng/l (range 7 - 22) FT3 2.9 ng/l (range 2.3 - 5.1) ===>, here is the Free T3, I believe, her's is low. There is a file on the list page called Pediatric Reference Ranges, it gives the Free T3 ref ranges per age. The upper level of her age is 6.2 and you want her to be in the upper quarter of the range, she is not. Her Free T4, per the Labcorp Pediatric Reference Range is also a little low. Try to get your dan!/dr/chiropractor to script her Some Armour. I have looked at a lot of these and this is typical, the TSH is fine, that's what most allopathic drs look at and if it's fine, they won't test anything else. But you can see her TSH is fine but the Free T3 is low. Total T4 91 nmol/l (range 66 - 181) 71 micro g/l (range 51 - 141) Total T3 2.14 nmol/l (range 1.30 - 3.10) 1.39 micro g/l (range 0.85 - 2.02) anti-TPO <5 UI/ml (range: < 50 ) anti-thyroglobuline 10 UI/ml (range < 100)
Guest guest
I agree with . You may need to find a holistic doctor who treats by symptoms rather than TSH only..and who rx's Armour. Regular docs would not treat my daughter whose T3 and T4 were pitifully low and her TSH was 3.04 and she has antibodies at 20. (which is low, but with family hx she's going autoimmune) Anyway..the holistic doctor too a look at these same labs and said...it was obvious to her that the child was hypo. So be prepared that most endo's and mainstream physicians will not treat her because her TSH is under 5. Chiropractors, holistic doctors, etc...usually fare better. Not saying an endo isn't ok to do some testing to make sure there are no other endocrine issues. Of course, I think you said you were in Europe? Things may be different there when it comes to thyroid treatment. > > > ----- Original Message ----- > From: iam2l84t > > > > I just got complete lab work back now & am posting it as is hoping > that experts here can help me understand them. > > > -------------------------------------------- > > Ferritine 22 ng/ml (range: 30-90) > > ====>This is actually fine, I've seen the optimal level for children is lower than adults.
