Clarification from NACO for Nonextension of PLHIV Coordinator

Dear Sir/Madam,

At the very outset I feel very depressed regarding the non extension of the said

post which merely emphasise for only a short period of time just to show case or

in one sense just to highlight a few NACO provisions in a very tokenistic

manner.

Being a PLHIV for the last 15 years which I luckily or unluckily got the

opportunity to assigned me to the post of PLHIV Coodrinator after a long

struggle neraly losing for almost a year in fighting for the said post which I

think justice is done.

But very soon before completion of my contract term the said post has been

removed without any official intimation to all the concerns, leaving aside our

PLHIV community.

This in one sense create exist the greatest fear of insecurity and right

violation from the perspective of being an employee as well as a patient.

Further, the SACS eventhouth its a well known nodal agency in combating the

epidemic the voice and concerns of PLHIV community is totally marginalised in

this particular issue.

Lastly, no matter what even if the PPTCT NGO has been shifted or granted to

carry on to another agency, its not a fair manner to remove or abolish the post

of PLHIV Coordinator without any ethical procedures/norms.
