I know how massive those achievements are for our ASD kids.

A very good sign you are going in the right direction. So keep it up.

, I'm so happy for you and your family! Progress like this

makes the frequent dose schedule so much easier.

That's great! She is lucky to have a mom like you who notices and

appreciates these accomplishments and cheers her on :) Being

an " autism mom " is rewarding because we get excited over and over for

our kids' successes.

Thank you :)

As much as I hate autism, I wouldn't be the parent I am now if Ruby

never had it. We appreciate every little thing. I am finding that I am

appreciating my NT 14 month old's progress more too. It's all amazing.

But for our asd kids it's so big. And I agree, we are lucky that we

get to see so many new things with our kids.

Wonderful!

Barb

[ ] OT- A little more progress

We are on round 12 of ALA and DMSA. I lowered the dose this weekend to

1.5mg ALA and 3mg DMSA. A half hour after giving Ruby her third dose

of the day she walked over to her tricycle, sat on it properly and

pushed herself back and forth! This is a kid who is terrified of

riding toys. Her tricycle has been sitting in the basement for months

untouched.

She kept laughing and saying 'tricycle' over and over. She was so

proud of herself that she was doing this. I was and still am in shock!

Just wanted to share this. This is so huge for her. She has always

screamed over riding toys.
