Guest guest
Heartfelt condolences! May God grant peace to the departed soul. I am too shocked to learn that the person who brought the issues of blood safety and a mainstreamed coodinated response to the Epidemic of HIV is no more with us. It is indeed an irreparable loss to all those committed to the containment of the pandemic. May God provide courage to the members of the bereaved family and the large number of friends and collleagues at this hour. Guest guest
It is with profound shock that I received this sudden demise of Dr Radium Bhattacharyya. I can't believe that she left us so suddenly. I knew Dr Radium since I joined NACO in 1997 and met her on several occasions after that. Her commitment, dedication and 'never give up' approach made her a unique personality among the civil society partners in India who led the fight against AIDS. The last time I met her was in a seminar at Hyderabad in 2007 to which she specially invited me. Even after I left India we maintained our contact and I was following her activities in various civil society fora in India. It is a big loss for the AIDS movement in India that we don't have Radium with us any more. My heartfelt condolences to her family and friends. May her Soul rest in peace. Guest guest
Deep condolences for a very positive activitist. We are at a great loss as she was a true crusader for civil society movement. I wish the AIDS community to follow her path of and that would be the best way to fill this void.
