Obsessed with playing in/with water

The last several weeks, we cannot keep our son out of the water. He is

either standing at the kitchen sink or wanting to take a bath. It's gotten

so bad that we are turning our water off 6 or 7 times every day. He's

always loved to play with water, but this is seriously over the top.

He's not perseverating or obsessed with anything else - just the water.

Does anyone have any ideas? Or has anyone gone through the same thing???
