Flu vaccine for pregnant woman

A friend of mine is pregnant and wants to get the flu vaccine... can

anyone give me some compelling reasons not to do so? Her argument is

that they've taken the themerosal out and it's not attenuated. Any

good journal articles on this? I hate to see another child possibly

injured.
