Guest guest
That is just political pundits assuming that if a person didn't vote for Nader they would have voted for McCain. IMO that is wrong. For some of us, we just left the presidential spot blank (early absentee voting) since we didn't even have a choice to vote for Nader or write in a candidate. They say similar things about the third party candidates every year. If a person chooses to vote for Nader, it is a vote for Nader - no one else. Either way, I see no candidate this election season that wants to help straighten up the food supply, eliminate vaccinations, or hold allopathic health care responsible. I just see a couple of guys who have always wanted to be called " Mr. President. " So, we are still on our own in the fight to recover our children and protect our families from the toxins which have become prevalent in our society. My vote is for all the moms and dads here who share every day and make my job so much easier!!! Thanks to all of you, my son is now outside raking leaves and being HAPPY about it! :-) I didn't even get a twisted face when I mentioned how Dad wanted the leaves disposed of. If I might borrow a line from one of the Pink Panther movies " Every day, in every way, he's getting better. " And, it wasn't because of any politician or doctor. Thanks friends! Guest guest
I fail to see what any candidate is going to do for the situation at hand. Big Corporate will still run the country, regardless of which of the two biggies we vote for. I'm not voting for either, it's my vote if I chose to waste it or use it for Nader or use it for no one. ( not saying I am voting for him either) Each of us is going to do what we feel is best tomorrow when we vote. Doesn't matter what anyone posts here, or elsewhere. Regardless of who gets elected, I will still have to fight for my right to choose not to vaccinate, I will still be taxed beyond reason, and I will still be vying for every last bit of personal freedom as corporatism takes over the rest of the government that is not already bought out. We do not have democracy anymore, we have corporatism. But I do agree, that this board is not the place to " covert " anyone into voting a certain way. I have three other choices in my state beside the elephant and the donkey. I doubt any of them is going to change things either. One person cannot do all that. The president does not even really have the power to enact all the changes American's want. They do not have the political power in government to enact all these changes. Only we can change that, through boycotts, protests, refusal to buy from Big Corporate and Big Pharma, and Big Medical etc. By not taking things lying down, by not being quiet about what goes on. by not letting them tell us we have not power. The government only has power if we allow them too. But too many people are comfortable in their cozy prozac mindsets, in houses full of consumer goods for much to happen. Free thinkers are in short supply and if one gets anywhere near the White House, he/she is either shot or bought out. The people I have talked to about voting this past month, are all basing their vote on what they see in commercials on tv. They have not done any research, checked any voting records, and most did not know they had more than two choices. That is how they want it to be. I honestly, could not believe the ignorance in people about how the government works. It's not their fault, its what they teach in school, but it not how it works now days. Maybe 200 years ago. But not now. Now it's the guy with the money gets what he wants done. I am inclined to think my presidential vote will be blank too, I don't want to responsible for electing the next Busch disaster. I'd rather not vote than have to live with choosing someone just as evil as Bush/Cheney. Make no mistake about their intentions. They are evil. And good riddance, though I am inclined to think that the upcoming president will be one of their next puppets. > > > > I am a huge fan of political radio.
