Dear Forum,

The HIV/AIDS Bill which provides legal standing in the prevention of

discrimination and guarantee protection of individuals' rights in relation to

HIV/AIDS was earlier expected to be tabled in the parliament during 2007 Budget

session.

I am sure that most of the professionals, like me, who had been the part in the

process of developing the HIV/AIDS Bill as well as those who pledged for passing

it, will never compromise with the provisions as made in the Bill.

Hopefully, it is eagerly expected to be tabled the Bill in coming Session

without making further delay because it will empower people not only to protect

themselves but also others from HIV/AIDS.
