Hello,

First of all, merry Christmas for everyone, hope that we will

continue to see progress with our children, it is so important.

When I talked on the phone with my DAN, I stated that Matthias had

low muscle strength in right hand (problems with cutting meat !) and

also with gymnastics and swimming in school. My DAN does not think he

is a viral kid altough for me, he is showing many signs of a viral

one (regressing after MMR, ongoing gut problems, receptive and

expressive language delays and so on). She would have a amino acid

test taken to see which levels are good and which one need to be

adjusted.

For what I find on the internet, these amino acids are l-leucine, l-

isoleucine, l-valine (branched amino acids). Should I give these a

try, I know that has an excellent supplement for these or

would it be better to give a general one ? I would prefer to give

Valtrex but as I am not a doctor, I am not completely sure if that is

wat my son really needs. He is on the biomedical pathway now for 1,5

year and has made great progress so far but I need some more fine

tuning regarding some things and I don't know what to do with his

muscle strength. Next year he must attend high school and he will be

laughed at if these muscle tone problems are not settled by then.

Anyone on this list who had the same experience like me and what gave

the improvement ?

Thanks for taking the time to answer !

Ann
