Inititatives by RNP+ for children

Childhood is the most beautiful of all life's seasons.  Children are always

known as the Future of nation. These are major resource for development of any

country. But when these children become HIV positive either infected or affected

it changes their lives drastically.

RNP+ is a charitable community based organization registered under the society

act of Rajasthan 1958 on September 16, 2002, with the mission to fight against

HIV/AIDS.  It has been formed exclusively to address the needs of positive

persons in the state and mobilize positive persons to reveal their status and

advocate for their rights collectively as a network. Today the network has

formed twenty six district level networks in Rajasthan and has 12400 members

across the state.

RNP+ has two initiative for the sake of positive children i.e.-

1) With the help of Make A wish, India RNP+ tried to bring smile on 165

childrens faces by fulfilling their wishes who are living with HIV till 30,

August, 09.

Children with sparkle in eyes and smile on cheeks when their wish is in front of

eyes

 

2) Another initiative which is taking by RNP+ at own level without any funding

is to provide a comprehensive shelter to orphan or semiorphan children living

with HIV.

To encourage adoption and re-integration / rehabilitation of children orphaned

by HIV in to society

To provide long term residential care to the most deprived orphaned children due

to HIV.

Output:

Started from 5 children and reached to 40 till august- 09,

Able to mobilized community support In next year plan for 80 children

 

Although it is just like touching the Tip of iceberg. But as we all know if

response for the humanity.
