Canadian and American vaccines will not be the same. The Vaccine Adverse Events Reporting System could help you identify the names of the manufacturer but only for American vaccines. You can try it though at the website of the National Vaccine Information Center. www.NVIC.org -Click on the VAERS box on the homepage.

Is there any way/site I can go to that will match the lot numbers with the manufacturer? Also, does it matter that they were in Canada. (I am assuming that all the vaccinations come from US companies.)Thanks,

Thanks Kathi and Trophy,

I went on to the VAERS site and my lot numbers do not work. I know

in Canada they stopped using thimerosal DTP's in 2001 but I am

unsure as to whether they still were using up old stock and my Sam

was born Nov, 2001 (thus the important of lot numbers). Further,

HepB still has thimerosal (those alone put him over the EPA limit)

and by the time he was born I had a min. of 6 RhoGam shots.

How do we add all this up?

While getting his last MMR, he had a VARIVAX II chicken pox shot

(this was the second one because the doctor " forgot " she had given

him one 8 mo. previous). Do these have thimerosal?

If you hear of anything to help me track all of this I would really

appreciate it.

Thanks again,

I was going through my sons medical records when i noticed on this

consent to vaccinate thing which had both my signatures and my husbands

but neither one of us remember seeing it or signing it. all of the lot

numbers contain only one.

But all of the HIB vaccines have two each.

(like WB369AA, & WA764AA both handwritten in the same line.) IS THAT

NORMAL?? does anyone know?

Since HIB is given more than once, it might be why there are two lots

numbers. For each time it was given?? Or there is some confusion as to

which lot he was given.

Don't worry, none of us recalls signing that paper.. makes me think

they somehow slip in it disguised or something...

I planned to pull our lot numbers/vax records. Did you just simply

request it from the doctor and they furbished it? I have vax records,

but not lot numbers..and the curiosity is killing me.
