At my house, sinus issues were usually related to yeast overgrowth. Eczema was usually caused by food intolerance. Hair loss was biotin deficiency, which was also one of the underlying reasons my son's body had difficulty controlling yeast. Try taking biotin, see if the sinus and hair issues lessen or disappear. > An MD once commented that all the areas around the central meridien > of my body (nose, eyes, lips, sore throat, eczema - it's just eczema > around the groin) appear to be my weak points - good observation. " Eczema " around the groin can also be related to yeast. Dana
Guest guest
Hi, . I was just reading about B2 and found this: " What are deficiency symptoms for vitamin B2? Many of the early-stage deficiency symptoms for riboflavin involve eye-related problems. These problems include excessive sensitivity to light, tearing, burning and itching in and around the eyes, and loss of clear vision. Soreness around the lips, mouth, and tongue, and cracking of the skin at the corners of the mouth are symptoms that can also be characteristic of riboflavin deficiency. Peeling of the skin, particularly around the nose, or in men around the scrotum, can also indicate lack of vitamin B2. " Source: http://www.whfoods.com/genpage.php?tname=nutrient & dbid=93 Biotin might help w/ the hair loss. Or it sounds like you need a good B complex. Please let me know if the dry eyes go away as my husband suffers from this too. > > Hi, > > Besides using moisturizer drops for dry eyes & applying lip balm for > chapped lips, what supplements can I take to help relieve these > symptoms? > > I just felt that if I got the supplements right, a lot of my other symptoms > (like sinus & eczema & even tendency to lose hair) would be eased too. > > An MD once commented that all the areas around the central meridien > of my body (nose, eyes, lips, sore throat, eczema - it's just eczema > around the groin) appear to be my weak points - good observation. > > > Thanks for inputs > > >
Guest guest
Thanks for the research, . Come to think of it, I've ceased taking B complex for many years & looks like I need to resume it. I've also ceased Multivitamin for years & only 2 years back I resumed my multivit : the multivit helped a little with eczema but not much. I've also tried Evening Primrose oil (2000mg/day) but it helped little with eczema I'll post the results after a week or so Thanks
