What is it that you are saying was done that you think is

improper?

The changing headers part sounds **courteous** to me. Generally

people who change the subject on posts are doing so to reflect

what they are commenting about. I do it when I'm paying attention,

and occassionally forget to. NOT changing the subject line is

more where I would think there's a problem.

And by " gutted " do you mean the responses quoted only a portion

of your text? That's also something would generally think is

appropriate and helpful. But, I don't know if that's what you

are saying is an affront.
