HIRING THE SERVICES OF PPTCT CONSULTANT FOR HIV/AIDS

 

Gujarat State AIDS Control Society is working in the field of prevention &

control activities for HIV/AIDS. HIV can be transmitted from pregnant women to

her child. Prevention of transmission of infection from Parent to Child is being

implemented to strengthen PPTCT services; GSACS is in need of services of a

consultant (an individual) to support its activities.

 

The requisite qualification of consultant is as below:

Person with a postgraduate medical qualification, preferably in the field of

Community Medicine/Preventive and Social Medicine OR Person with a post graduate

qualification, in Obstetrics and Gynecology, Pediatrics, and proven competencies

in Gujarati & English.

 

Person should have experience in public health and social development. An

exposure to NGO/International Social Department organization good understanding

of the Health System of India, prior work with the Department of Health in the

State of Gujarat will be added advantages.

 

The persons should have good communication skills with a flair for field work.

The consultant needs to travel minimum 10 days in a month.

The service will be hired for 12 months period on purely contractual basis. It

may be extended subject to need of services.

The Gross emoluments will be in the range of Rs. 50,000 – Rs. 60,000 p.m. and

will be commensurate to experience and expertise.

from 10.30 a.m. to 12.30 p.m. with all necessary original certificates and
