Health Cards for people living with HIV

Dear Forum,

 

Four years back NACO started a programme of Health Card to all HIV+ peoples in

RML Hospital(Delhi). In my view this is the good/appreciable step. But, after

some time NACO drop-out this programme without any information and reason.

In this Health Card all details about present & past ART treatment,case

history,proper address,contact numbers,reffrence/attendent person etc are

available.

This Health Card is a Computer Chip Card & no problems of breqach of

cofidentiality. Health Card is also very helpful and comfurtable

We uses this in ART treatment, OI's treatment, Travel Concessions (etc) in all

states.

In my Opinion, NACO should start this Health Card Nationally in all ART centers.

 

My Humble request to all NACO officials is to take positive steps on this as

soon as possible.
