We will be writing to highlight in details of our own experiences and observations shortly, related to the " NACP " on Policy, Programs, Finance, Failure, and System as well our further BOLD ACTION. If she can jump to kill her self, why not we to hold accountable to " NACO " and other National Body, who received huge funding and State AIDS Control Societies are another middle brokers of NACO's for local puppets show to play with the life's of innocence PLHAs. The whole episode will come up now and this is just few tips to begin for action. Majority of PLHAs in India being alive, lives like died, because of no food to eat, no-money to buy medicine and no place to stay, after all no jobs, because all go's in the pockets of few. Tuesday, July, 13 - 2010, BY STAFF REPORTER PANJIM: A young HIV+ve women admitted to the Goa Medical College and Hospital, Bambolim committed suicide by jumping from the second floor early yesterday morning. The woman, aged 35 and hailing from pernem was admitted to the GMC a few days ago for treatment where the medical tests revealed that she was contracted HIV. Her husband died about two years and she had no issues. The family members suspect that the woman took the drastic step after her HIV status was detected by the GMC and fearing that she might be ostracized by the society. On getting the information, the Agaciam Police rushed to the spot and conducted the panchanama. The body was later handed over to the relatives for last rites. Meanwhile, according to Goa State AIDS Control Society, as many as 47 HIV patients including 18 women had died in the state during the last six-month. ________________________________________________ Woman jumps to death from GMC after testing HIV+' Source: Herald - Goa. Tuesday, July, 13 - 2010 BY HERALD REPORTER PANJIM, JULY 12: A 38-year-old woman hailing from North Goa committed suicide hours after she was diagnosed with HIV. This woman was admitted in the Goa Medical College and Hospital, Bambolim with fever on July 9, Deputy Superintendent of Police Deu Benaulikar informed. She was subjected to blood tests in the hospitals on her admission. The doctors Sunday evening told her she was detected with HIV. The woman who is apparently married allegedly jumped off the first floor of the GMC building at 6:30am today. The post-mortem was conducted after which her body was handed over to her grieved family members.
