Set against the nexus between public

health and sex workers’ rights, the session intends to examine political

influences on sex work law – historically as well as in present times.

By illustrating countries that have undergone recent policy change, the

speakers will identify factors that can help create a legal framework

supportive of sex workers’ health and rights.
