ART Adhearence problems due to strike and fuel price hike

Dear AIDS INDIA group,

I want to share the experiences of my PLHIV friends who face sevire problem in

taking ART on time due to the bus faire hike in Manipur.

The problem has been made worse when the national highway is on a blockade/

strike for the last 70 days and the petrol and desiel rate encreased to double.

Due to this the bus service take double fare from the passenger.

Please think of a person, who is poor or hardly manage the fare of

transportation fare. They cannot take the ART on the day of follow up and the

any organisation of PLHIV working in manipur  is not taking any option to tackel

the problem.

How to solve this prblem is the BIG question i would like to present to the

members of this group.

Please dont mind and suggest me and other organisations in Manipur, on how to

takle this problem.
