We seek qualified candidates for the position of Deputy Director based in Bangkok, Thailand.

Position Responsibilities:

The Deputy Director Asia Pacific Regional Office (APRO) / Director, Program Management, oversees and manages program management staff and functions of the APRO and Country Directors and Project Directors as assigned. S/He leads and or supports resource development (RD) efforts for assigned countries. S/He monitors quality of sub-agreement management by country offices and advises on delegation of authorities. The Deputy Director supervises COP of the USAID-funded sub-regional program and serves as acting head of regional office in absence of Senior Director.

Minimum Requirements:

BS/BA in public health or related field, and 11-13 years relevant experience in HIV, public health or related field with international development programs with 5-7 years supervisory experience; Or MS/MA/MPH in public health or related field, and 9 - 11 years relevant experience in HIV, public health or related field with international development programs, with 5-7 years supervisory experience; Or PhD, MD or equivalent degree with 7 - 9 years relevant experience in HIV, public health or related field with international development programs and 5-7 years of supervisory experience. Overseas field experience required.
