On behalf of the Organizing Committee of ASICON 2010 it is our proud privilege

to medical caregivers and medical researchers in the field of HIV/AIDS to the

one and the only must-attend HIV meet - 3rd National Conference of AIDS Society

of India (ASICON 2010) focusing Optimal, Efficient and Comprehensive HIV

Management.

You will agree with me that India made an unparalleled contribution in

transforming HIV/AIDS to a chronic manageable and affordable disease by virtue

of its cheaper, ARVs and low-cost patient-care skills without compromising

quality.

Launch of free ART by the NACO, and even second-line in our country

with matured HIV-epidemic necessitates review of strategies in care continuum.

While the Govt., Pharma and NGOs are making intense efforts to enhance access to

care, ASI is duty-bound to strengthen its quality implementation through

scientific update.

Renowned faculty of clinicians and researchers across the globe will share their

state-of-the-art knowledge, insights, expertise and vision through plenary and

interactive sessions. The deliberations will help enhance our capacity to offer

quality HIV care and prioritize researchable issues in India.

It will provide an opportunity to review, reflect upon and look

forward to emerging newer approaches in care and will thus be a milestone

offering invaluable opportunity to learn, share and care.
