It would be worthwhile to mention that any trials of such drugs are permitted

after approval of NACOs TRG on (R & D) for which there is a procedure of

submission of protocols, evaluation by experts which include AYUSH experts and

research following standard ethical procedures

The details for submission of such research projects are avaiable on NACO

website.

NACO never discourages research of Ayurveda and other products but it has to

carried out in sceintifc manner with approval of TRG, which is chaired by an

eminent scientist of international repute
