This is to bring to your kind attention that the deadline for receipt of completed application forms for the recruitment of Y6 batch Advanced HIV Fellowship Programme has been extended to September 13th 2010. This Fellowship programme for the past five years is being conducted at GHTM, Chennai which is one of Asia’s largest HIV/AIDS care centres. It is approved by the Tamilnadu State Government (G.O. 581), Tamilnadu State AIDS Control Society (TANSACS), Directorate of Medical Education, Tamilnadu, funded by the Centres of Disease Control and Prevention (CDC-GAP) and implemented by the International Training and Education Center for Health (I-TECH). Available to doctors completed MBBS recognized by MCI. Postgraduate degree/diploma in any medical discipline (General Medicine, Chest Diseases, Paediatrics, Skin & Venereal Diseases, Community Health and related fields with interest in HIV/AIDS Medicine) is preferred, age less than 40 years. All candidates enrolled on the programme as Fellows are entitled to a remuneration of Rs. 25,000 per month.
