Applications are invited for the following posts located in the

districts by a reputed organization working in the field of HIV/AIDS

1. District Resource Person (DRP):

Masters Degree in Social Sciences eg. Social work, Sociology, Health

Management etc., with 3 -5 years experience in Public Health Management.

The DRPs must have sensitivity of working with marginalized groups,

including people affected with HIV/AIDS and high-risk groups, hands on

experience of working on social mobilization and community based

projects and experience of working with varied partners.

DRPs are expected to provide techno managerial support for HIV/AIDS

prevention, control, treatment, care and support services in the

district and also work with DAPCUs (District Aids Prevention & Control

Units) in preparing specific district action plans, monitoring,

supervising and implementation of the HIV/AIDS activities in the

district.

Key Skills

Programme management †" Ability to draw up action plans,

work plans with different cadres with prioritization, review programme

implementation, provide inputs to programme design tailored to the

district situation and provide supervisory inputs to the different

cadres of personnel in the scheme.

Linkages †" Competence to work with different depts. In

the govt. at the district level, civil society partners including

positive networks, PRI members and other divisions under NACP-III at the

district level.

Reporting †" Capability to interpret reports and feedback

into programme implementation, share results in an easy to understand

manner with Supervisors and Link Workers, compile programme updates and share

highlights and challenges.

Fund Management- Know-how to work with allocated funds,

supervise M & E cum accounts assistant on submission of accounts and

budget preparation.

Remuneration is Rs. 20,000 p.m.(Consolidated)

Age : between 25 †" 35 years

The above positions are based at Karimnagar, Guntur and Medak

Districts.

Knowledge of HIV/AIDS prevalence / situation in the above

Districts is preferable

The above positions are purely on contractual basis for a period

of one year, renewable at the discretion of the district authority.
