I absolutely agree with Dr Rewari.

Point is not to compare the two sector of medical services: important is  to

know the number & pattern in these cases in our country.

By reporting just number of cases we are doing more good to people.

I think it is good move and I agree with Dr BB Rewari.

With comprehensive reporting and analysis I am sure we would not only be able to

understand issues related to ART better but also assure prompt action. I am sure

this would bring focus on focus on ‘Standardization of practices in Government

and Private’.

We need to learn from the fiasco of TB management where lack of standardisation

between Govt and Private set ups has allowed not only TB to thrive in the

country but also end up with Multiple Drug Resistant and XDR TB.

I trust all of us comply with this reporting need and enable better action in

the larger interest of public health and the country.
