Good that you brought out this issue. Hope SACS and NACO officials take notice

of this posting.

In Tamilnadu also there are community care centers run by NGOs and the state of

affairs are same here as you stated. Hope the new NACO DG will look in to the

functioning of CCC and will resolve the issues.

There are CCC in Tamilnadu who get regular referal of healthy PLHIV from ART

centers for name sake. They do not admit PLHIV who really need service and tell

some reason to send them off.

There is no purpose for running these CCC.
