Dear Colleagues and Friends,

The UNICEF HIV and AIDS section in New York, in partnership with WHO and PAHO,

is pleased to announce the first virtual knowledge -sharing event on Preventing

Mother-to-Child Transmission of HIV. It will take place on Tuesday, March 2 at

9.30am (until 10.30am) New York time.

“Virtual Elimination of Mother-to-Child Transmission of HIV (MTCT):

achievements, challenges, opportunities and way forward”

In addition to watching live presentations by Rene Ekpini (Senior Adviser PMTCT,

UNICEF New York) and Yves Souteyrand (Coordinator, Strategic Information Unit,

HIV and AIDS, WHO, Geneva), you will have the opportunity to ask questions and

provide comments in real time.
