I asked few questions to D.G. NACO earlier through this open letter, but it was

unanswered.

Now I have got the replies from NACO for the same questions as I sought

information under RTI Act, which proves that the data given to Parliament by

NACO is complete worng.

I went through the NACO RTI reply on aids space and there is nothing to suggest

that the estimates are wrong. More data from the sentinel

surveillance will be required to understand the basis of estimates.

More detail is required to appreciate the calculations of HIV prevalence. May be

you could ask them in a rejoinder on the same, and some friends could help

interpret the same.

Further, we must appreciate that estimates are not head counts.

Do you have nay alternative estimates? Kindly share.
