Open letter to D.G. NACO Regarding The Estimates of HIV Prevalence in 2009

Dear Sir,

I would like to take the previlege to ask you few questions as mentioned below:

1. What is the basis of the " Estimated Adult HIV Prevalence and

Estimated number of HIV Infections among men, women and Children,

State-wise, 2009 " published in

http://pib.nic.in/newsite/PrintRelease.aspx?relid=67292, also

published in AIDS-India E-Forum and also presented before Lok Sabha in

writting?

2. Under whose supervision the above mentioned report has been made for Hon'ble

Minister for Health and Family Welfare Shri Ghulam Nabi Azad ?

3. When the Medical College, Regional Pediatric ART Centre Started?

4. What is the number of HIV infected Children registered in the

Medical College Pediatric Center, Kolkata and in School of Tropical

Medicine, Kolkata in the 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, 20010?

5. How many children are registered for ART in West Bengal and in

Rajasthan in the year 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, and 2010?

Looking forward towards your earliest response for the shake of people living

with HIV in India as well as to disclose the truth before the world not only in

paper but about the reality.
