Auction of property purchased for Global Fund Project by DNP+. Rajasthan

Dear Forum,

Greetings from RNP+.

We would like to request to all the forum members and partners of " Global Fund "

to participate in the " Auction of the Property " purchased by one of our DLN

i.e. Dausa Network for People living with HIV/AIDS for Global Fund Project.

The background of the Auction is that Dausa Network signed one MOU with INP+ in

March 2010 for Global Fund Project and then received first part of the fund on

April 2010 to purchase all the communication items including salary of five

staffs and started their work from 22nd March 2010.

After that they received 2nd part of the fund on June 2010 for three months i.e.

for April, May and June 2010.

Till then they are still running the project by borrowing money from outside,

but now they are out of capacity as well as they are facing tremendous pressers

to repay the borrowed money, so they decided to auction the property to get read

of loan and to stop the project.

As a matter of fact in Rajasthan, Global fund has signed direct MOU with other

District Level Network through PFI apart from Dausa and now the PFI is telling

we did not have got any MOU from INP+ regarding Dausa.

Under this situation either INP+ or PFI nobody is ensuring about the

disbursement of the next part of the fund.
