Guest guest
Dear F Borges, /message/12043 This is a common situation all over India. Being a doctor I don't see anything special about it. why should leprosy to be isolated? There is a possible reason to segregate immuno suppressed patients and sputum positive TB but very few of our hospitals has proper isolation facilities. But Immuno suppressed include patients include those with cancer, diabetes, those who are in Immuno suppressive drugs.....and also HIV. Definitely we should develop a comprehensive policy on this and implement it, but it is important to see that it doesn't limit to HIV.
