Swaasthya is an India based NGO specializing in innovating community based

programming on Reproductive and Sexual Health. It was established in October

1994 and registered as a trust in February 1995. Swaasthya over a decade of its

existence has been involved with intervention research to generate empirical

evidence to advocate with policy makers and planners.

Over the years, Swaasthya has also realized the importance of addressing

socio-cultural contexts in dealing with health issues. Presently, gender issues

are addressed in all its programmes. Increase understanding of rights issues has

also been providing a framework of conceptualizing, designing and implementing

programmes.

Swaasthya invites application for the position of Programme Assistant (Delhi

based).

Job description

Ø Providing support to project manager.

Ø Providing literature search and web search support for resource mobilization

Ø Developing presentations.

Candidate Profile

Ø Qualification - Bachelors in Social Work or related fields.

Ø Skills - Strong communication skills (verbal and written- both English and

Hindi), computer proficient in word, power point, excel and internet abled.

Remuneration - Negotiable

Location

Candidate will be based at Swaasthya's Head office in New Delhi. Last date for

submission of application is 14th October 2010. Applications received after the

last date will not be considered.
