THE ORGANIZATION: Samrakshana is a service organization

The mission: Building younger generation into national resources

Samrakshana, is registered in 1999 as a Trust. The Trust has two major

divisions for implementing its activities. The service division has

engaged in rendering civic promotion activities. The Technical

resources division renders professional services to augment resources.

The net proceeds of the technical resources division is utilized for

the implementation of Samrakshana’s variety of civic programs.

The chief functions

Samrakshana is a Trust engaged in offering technical services for

service sector and a voluntary organization providing life skills

education and civic awareness to adolescents and youth. Samrakshana

has undertaken trainings, research and evaluative studies for the

NGOs, CBOs and government organizations.

REQUIREMENT FOR COUNSELORS

Requirement: Fair knowledge in skills on Case history, Case study &

Documentation.

Qualification: Post graduates in Psychology or Masters Degree in

Social work specialized in Medical and psychiatry

Experience: 5 to 7 years of experience in counseling

SERVICE RESPONSIBILITIES

ï¶ Student counseling

ï¶ Parenting teens.

ï¶ Pre marital counseling

ï¶ Disputes & Conflicts among young couples/partners

ï¶ Domestic & Work place violence/harassment.

ï¶ Coping techniques.

ï¶ Referral links & services.

ï¶ Networking.

ï¶ Tracking.

Salary: Rs. 15,000 - 18,000/ month
