Chandigarh: Support for HIV + Kids from Religious Organization

Dear forum members,

It is a well-known fact the cure of most vulnerable diseases needs great

affection, care, support and protection. That is possible when Angel Souls take

the reins of affairs in their hands through participatory approach.

Solidarity to the cause of HIV Infected and affected children came up to light

today at Chandigarh when “Shirdi Sai Bhagat Sangthan, Himachal Pradesh and

Shirdi sai arpan cultural Society” 16 MW, Industrial Area Phase-1, Chandigarh,

a spiritual organization, decided to come help to HIV infected/affected

Children.

Shirdi Sai arpan cultural Society is decided spend Rupees Fifty Thousand

(50,000) for these children to support in treatment and other emergency

occasions.

This organization has over thousand of devotee who are donated

money for such social issue.

Today on 2nd November 2010 at International Hostel sector-15/A, Chandigarh the

programme started at 11.00 A.M. Dr. Roshan Sunkaria IAS, Commissioner Municipal

Corporation Chandigarh distributed cloths to HIV Infected/affected Children,

provided by “Shirdi Sai Bhagat Sangthan, Himachal Pradesh and Shirdi sai arpan

cultural Society, Chandigarh.”

Dr. Sunkaria, Commissioner Municipal Corporation Chandigarh while distributing

blankets, cloths, to People and children living with HIV said “Municipal

Corporation under SJSRY will include in urban self employment programme (USEP)

and skill training employment promotion among urban poor (step-up) as PLHIVs has

been considered as BPL by the Government of India.

*CNP+* a Registered NGO of HIV+ peoples in Chandigarh since 2005, associated

with Indian Network of people living with HIV/AIDS, Chennai. Presently we have

550 families and 175 Children are Get registered by our organization in

Chandigarh, Punjab, Haryana & Himachal Pradesh.

CNP+ would like to have an event for participation of society in Chandigarh for

rehabilitation of HIV infected/affected Children fund generate program.

Presently it has registered 175 both male and female children who are Hiv

Infected and affected these children are three types of Categorically needed to

support some are fully orphans and some are semi orphans and rest are in parents

live but not able to earn money for house hold necessary items.

Children of today are the youth of tomorrow. HIV affects

this very precious generation and Bear grave consequences to our future, our

nation, the continent and the world at large. It will adversely impact the

health statistics, economic growth and above all the morale of nations.

Let us join hands to bring a smile to the faces of those hopeless,

helpless, and homeless children.
