Guest guest
Yes, I have this [and in my case it was] costochondritis and/or Tietze syndrome, and it is the most painful thing I have. Sometime it develops into pleurisy, which I hear rattling. The cold air makes it worse as well as rapid changes in weather. I have yet to find a fix for it. Sometimes ice feels good, sometimes a heating pad. Warm baths seem to help. Mostly just take pain medication and anti-inflammatories and hope for the best. The worst thing to do it to move a lot and especially lift things, example, a roast turkey out of the oven! Mine has gotten so bad that as the day progresses, under my armpits swell up and start pressing on my lymph nodes, which then hurt. I can't wear a bra on many days. kristina adams <mac@...>
