Guest guest
I too, have had terrible problems with my SI joints and I tried it all: cortisone shots (which sent me into a psychosis and I spent 3 days in ICU getting shots of thorazine), I've had the nerves burned out, you name it, no relief that was long term. Then by a fluke, I found a surgeon willing to try a " new " procedure and he fused my SI joints but not the typical way. Apparently the old way was very brutal and I was told by a surgeon that the surgery made you hurt worse then dealing with the SI joints being inflamed. Anyway, this new surgery was wonderful. I woke up in the recovery room in less pain then I had for the last several years. It has been a miracle surgery for me. Rae
Guest guest
Rae: since so many of us have SI joint problems, any chance you could provide either your doctor's name/location or the " name " of the procedure that he used. Or some kind of description of the process that would help us find someone who's tuned into too? Joanna Hoelscher
