Guest guest
I wasn't so bad as most people at the start, gradually a few more joints played up, but my feet were agony, so stiff and painful whenever I rested a while or getting out of bed. But then I saw a rheumy and gradually increased meds, first anti inflammatories, then MTX then we added Arava which I've just stopped due to side effects. I stopped anti inflamm's as I kept getting a burning feeling in my throat after taking them, that only happened 6 months after taking the last one (Mobic). You must continue blood tests to check for side effects, there are alternative things to take if meds don't work out, thats where I am at present, when all goes well I work normally, since reducing meds I have a few more problems, but hopefully my rheumy will get things right soon. I've been lucky, the only sick leave Ive had is after finger joint injections take care max
