Dear Forum,

Yesterday, inspite of USA going into the lame-duck session, with lots of

Republican, joining in the next congress and senate, with the help of some

Republican senators , overturned, the fifteen years old rule instituted by armed

forces of DADT of US armed forces.

So gay/lesbian people of armed forces can now serve openly in US armed forces.

USA follows Great Britain, Israel, twenty three other countries.

Since in India, we have the largest standing army (after China), we will solve

most of our AIDS problems if it can be tackled w/o sweeping it under the 'dari'

or carpet.

Thank you,

Sincerely,

Priyadarshi Datta, Phd, PLWA.
