GIPA or Discrimination of Community Care Co-ordinators

Dear All,

NACO is a government agency expected to be working for PLHIVs, but it seem they

don't have firm Policies for PLHIVs.

NACO & WHO suggest nutritatious food for PLHIV for better results of ART and for

healthy life. Having an income is key for the intake of nutricious food.

NACO has many recruitment- opening for PLHIV in running ART Programs thourugh

the Post of Community Care Co-ordinator (CCC). But, their salary is

4600-125(TDS)=4475/-PM.

As per NACO's guideline employment for the post of CCC must be based on the

recruitments criteria, but not getting salary as per recruitments criteria.

All over India all govt employes are taking 6th pay commission salary.

CCC's are not asking for 6th pay salaries. They wants salaries and increments in

which they can live.

CCC is working as a Rolemodel for PLHIV.

But, they work in a Programe -for PLHIV. Thi will lead the PLHIV CCS to death

due to such a poor salary. All other employies of NACO and SACS are geting

sufficient salaries and increments which they requires.

Please tell me

1)Is PLHIV can live healty in a salary of 4475/- PM?

2)PLHIV's CCC have no right for pay increment ?

3) Or are NACO officers suppose that PLHV CCC are not expected to live longer

so they need not more salary ?

IS IT NOT DISCRIMINATION ???..
