Guest guest
Hi. My name is Jana and I am fairly new to posting on this site though I have been reading it for several months. I came down with psoriasis in my early twenties when I was going through a divorce. I am one of three cousins on my mother's side of the family who have psoriasis. Two of us now have PA and I expect the third will have it within 15 years of the disease. PA didn't start until I was 40 and had had my first and only child. My question. When I first started taking Enbrel, it worked almost immediately - within the first week. My rheumy suggested I switch to Humira because the Enbrel wasn't as effective on my psoriasis any more and my hands were such a wreck that we were afraid I would get an infection. Anyway, I have been on Humira for over a month now and feel worse than ever. Not only is the arthritis severe in the joints I'm used to feeling pain in, but now both my shoulders and hips are killing me. How long did it take any of you to feel relief from switching, AND, are there any of you who did fine on Enbrel but got no relief from Humira? Thanks so much to all of you for your help and support. This board is such a blessing. H & K's, Jana
