Formation of State Level Netowrk of PLHIV-ORISSA

Warm Greetings from ONP+, Orissa.

 

For the first time in Orissa all the 19 registered PLHIVs network have come

together to fight against AIDS  and on 5th November 2010 they have elected the 9

Governing Body Member of new state level PLHIV network named as " Orissa Network

of People Living With HIV, (ONP+) " at Gopalpur, Ganjam district of Orissa. ONP+

had organised a two days state level PLHIVs meet named as " NAVA DIGANTA " with

the financial support from INP+, KNP+, SAKHYAM Project, LEPRA Society and

SAMPARK Coaliation and 95 nos.

PLHIV came from 19 netwok( 5nos. from each network). Followings are the 1st

Governing Body members of ONP+.

3. Mr. Amarendra ku. Behera   ( Secretary)

4. Padmanava Dash                (Joint Secretary)

5. Mrs. A. tulsi Rao                ( Treasurer)

6. Mr. Subash Ch. Panda        (Executive Board Member)

7. Mr. Noroj Mishra                 (Executive Board Member)

8. Mrs. Sudasna swain            (Executive Board Member)

9. Mrs. Manider  Kour              (Executive Board Member)

 

After the election of Governing Body of ONP+ an advisory Committee was formed

with six PLHIV member including GIPA Coordinator, OSACS.

Er.Ajay Kumar patra has facilitated all the process for the formation of ONP+.

 

From ONP+ family we are very grateful to all of our supporter and thanks to all

of them for this PLHIV movement.
