Guest guest
I'm trying stopping Arava to see if my liver function returns to normal, enzyme went up to 1.5 x upper limit of normal, white cells decreased to about 1/2 the lower limit (staying on MTX). My rheumy didnt say anything about this and I wont see him for a while, so I was reading about the long 1/2 life of Arava (stays around for about 2 years!!), and wondered whether I should be doing a washout?? Funny how it hangs around for so long (and can still affect you and be measured in the blood), but you have to take it every day?? Also, now that I've stopped it, how long before things go backwards?? max
