" Has anyone tried this particular protocol yet? Thanks, PattySend blank message to candidiasis-unsubscribeonelist if you want to UNSUBSCRIBE ! Guest guest
I'd like to know more about this Patty... is there a website or anything?? You can look at this one for starters. http://www.oxytherapy.com/ I also have a copy of iel Altman's book "Oxygen Healing Therapies" that explains the use of various oxygen uses for medical treatment. One more group you can check out is Dr. Saul Pressman's .group called "ozonetherapy". That's where I asked my question, and got his response. I did buy a "cold plasma" ozone generator, so now I just need to use it according to his protocol and see what happens. Patty

Guest guest
I understand that some children have yeast which is more localised in the gut, and others have it more pervasively, throughout the body, a systemic yeast infection. I am wondering if my child might have this. She has massive brain fog, hyperactivity and just goes into another dimension of giddiness and silliness when yeast is up. We recently tried ketoconazole to which she had an amazing reaction, in that she started understanding quite a bit of what I was saying to her, responded quickly to directions and it seemed like her brain fog lifted. Unfortunately, it irritated her gut and we stopped. Although Diflucan is helpful, she does not have the same reaction to it. Nystatin does nothing for her. The naturals keep the yeast down, but none of them have had anywhere near the effect of ketoconazole. My question is, why was the ketoconazole specifically so effective? Is there anything similar I can give her? I know that my child's dysbiosis is exacerbated over the summer when it is more humid here and specifically at the beach, hence she comes out in tics, which seem to be dormant in winter as we live in a generally dry climate. I know that mold could be a problem as well. When a young child has more entrenched yeast, how do you treat it? Is there a specific treatment for systemic yeast infections? With the ketoconazole, I caught a glimpse of what my child can be, of what she is capable of and I want that child back. We have just finished Round 4 of AC chelation, use Enhansa, supplement vitamins and minerals, rotate anti-fungals and anti-bacterials, are doing a very low carbohydrate diet (one serving only a day of a low-oxalate carbohydrate to keep weight up, as before we were almost failure to thrive doing SCD without eggs or dairy). This is a core issue for us and impeding progress - the yeast overwhelms her brain and affects both receptive and expressive language. I am tired of fighting it as it seems I am getting nowhere. Thanks. sorry such a long post, but am very frustrated. Elena Round 5, 6.25mg DMSA

For my son, what worked best was the combination of biotin and GSE. I did have to give high doses during certain protocols. Chelation, anti-virals, biotin, and a few other things, eliminated the problem entirely. Dana

Green drinks that we made in a our vita mixer Have taken care of a multitude of problems ever my inflammation that nothing else seemed to be able To touch. Have you heard of the Crazy Sexy diet.it was written by a young girl who had cancer.it Is an awesome book and I have learned a lot from it she has recipes in the back of the book that she has jused to keep the cancer in remission. Use liquid braggs amino acid to flavoring on rice and veggies some people use chiken or veg broth. Make soups with lots of veggies and throw in some quinoa instead of potatoes or meat. In the morning scramble eggs with spinach and garlic with some garlic with a tsp of coconut oil or do a egg and veggie omlet. I also on occasion with have ezekeil toast with avocado and and some cut up tomatoes or ezekeil toast with some nut butter and some sweet white miso 1/2 tsp (south river brand) you can get it an most health food stores teas that have some medicinal properties. Guest guest
My mother took Diflucan everyday for about a year while she was on her treatment. And she swore by it. Expensive stuff but her insurance was paying for it. It even helped her nasty toenail to grow back normal. It's very strong. If you don't want to add yet another prescription... It helps to eliminate all the white carbs from your diet, especially sugar and flour. It's hard but does make a huge difference. And take Biotin and Capryl acid as a minimum. There's a lot of " yeast fighters " at a good vitamin store. They may not cure it but they would help. As long as your taking antibiotics your going to keep making it worse. So you have to try to balance it somehow.
