Northeast

Hello Fellow Lyme Parents!

I was wondering if anyone might be interested in joining me in a Lyme parents

gathering. I know that many of us are spread out around the country and that $

is of course an issue given what we spend on treatments, but I was thinking that

if it was possible for us to meet and spend time supporting one another and

enjoying each others'

company, it could be very nice.

Imagine a weekend with others that understand this issue, that aren't going to

judge or question you, with whom you could share ideas? I was thinking about

planning for something this summer. Perhaps we could all plan to meet at a place

like Coco Key hotel in Mass? I think the kids would enjoy it and we parents

might even get to relax a bit. I'm in RI and would be willing to plan it if

people were interested. I would love to hear thoughts/ideas on this or any other

ideas. I find this group so helpful. Even when I am not posting, I'm reading all

of your messages and thinking of you fondly.

Would love if you could. What about the ferry from LI to CT? Not a bad drive

from there. You can take your car on the ferry!
