Guest guest
Has anyone been diagnosed with sacroiliac dysfunction/deterioration due to their inflammatory arthritis? If so, have you tried cortisone injections in the SI joint and did they work? I'm scheduled to have the injections later this week and wanted to see if anyone has had experience with this. I went to a back specialist because of lower back pain and my xrays show degeneration in the left and right SI joints. There has been some question whether I psoriatic arthritis or sero-negative rheumatoid arthritis. Does rheumatoid arthritis affect the spine? Based on what I've been told by my rheumy, RA doesn't affect the spine while PA often does. I'm currently on Remicade, but still suffering from the SI joint pain. Any input, experience, or discussion would be greatly appreciated!
