About IHRN:

IHRN is a network of established organizations/networks and professionals

working on drug treatment; and HIV prevention, treatment and care for the drug

using population. It emerged out of the Sharan partners of the DFID Challenge

Its mission is to secure access to quality health services for drug users within

a rights framework; and to support the participation of drug users/primary

stakeholders in service delivery and in policy/program development. This would

be achieved through capacity building, networking, information sharing,

research, policy advocacy and collective action.

IHRN has been selected as a sub recipient for the Global Fund – 9, HIV/AIDS

– IDU component. This project is about building the capacity of field service

providers working in NACP III IDU Targeted Interventions of NACO, and provide
