Guest guest
I recently had my left leg go haywire, the meat off the bone ripped off, I ended up falling down, on floor for at least 2 hours... When they took scan, they found not only had I broke the small bone off with all the meat I have torn up my ligaments too... I had once surgery to re-attach the meat from the bone, but its not completely fixed and the next one will most likely be on my ligaments with more possible surgery on the one he tried to fix... I hate all this, but seems to becoming more my norm as I fall a lot due to pain, weakness and being ditzy at times... Its not looking like a good 2011 for me already and we ain't there yet lol... Guest guest
Psoriatic Arthritis is common in my family and we avoid joint operations whenever possible because our tendons and ligaments don't heal well. I think it's the enthesitis (inflammation where they join to bone) that messes up our healing. I'm told SOP is to take patients off our biologic for an operation which makes no sense to me. Take away the one med that helps my immune system behave itself, injure a joint (operate) and expect my body to heal normally and my immune system NOT to attack? They don't know my immune system!
